Tyler E. Batteese, was formerly associated with a large insurance defense firm before co-founding Josepher & Batteese, P.A. Mr. Batteese attended Boston University where he was a founding member of the B.U. local chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He also attended the University of Maine where he was awarded a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude, in 1992. Mr. Batteese attended the University of Miami School of Law where he was an accomplished moot court participant, member of the Law Review, and was awarded his Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude in 1995. While attending the University of Miami, Mr. Batteese was employed by the law offices of Nelson & Tacher, P.A., a litigation insurance defense firm for Traveler’s Insurance Group in south Florida.

Mr. Batteese is currently a practicing trial attorney and a founding partner and shareholder of Josepher & Batteese, P.A. He specializes in the areas of medical malpractice defense as well as general civil litigation. His current and past professional affiliations and memberships include: the Florida Bar; the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the American Bar Association; the Hillsborough County Bar Association; the Thomas Moore Law Center, and the Federalist Society.
