Ronald H. Josepher

Ronald H. Josepher has devoted virtually his entire career defending health care providers. His post-graduate education focused on medicine and litigation. Mr. Josepher, who was formerly a partner and shareholder in a large insurance defense law firm, continues to concentrate his litigation and trial practice in the defense of health care providers, including physicians and hospitals. Mr. Josepher also defends health care providers in administrative actions against their licenses to practice their profession in the State of Florida. Mr. Josepher has represented a number of hospitals in the State of Florida, and has also represented physicians in virtually all areas of their specialization. Mr. Josepher’s extensive trial experience as lead trial attorney includes the litigation and trial of severe neurologic injury and death cases, as well as several cases involving national media attention.
Mr. Josepher was born and raised in Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, in chemistry, with a minor in biology, from the University of Miami. He also attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. Mr. Josepher then attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, leaving near the end of the second year curriculum, and then he attended the University of Florida College of Law, beginning in March 1980. Mr. Josepher received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida in 1983. Some of Mr. Josepher’s academic achievements include ranking number one at the University of Miami School of Medicine in cardiovascular and pulmonary physiology, as well as ranking number one in Lawyer as a Negotiator at the University of Florida, College of Law. Mr. Josepher is admitted to The Florida Bar. Mr. Josepher has lectured at various hospitals, to physicians and other health care providers. He has also lectured to other groups including annual medical malpractice insurance company meetings.
